I truly believe the values that the Federation encompass; determination, kindness and respect, to name a few, are essential parts of being a good human being, which I think is ultimately what children learn in school.

In the past, I have volunteered at my local Citizens Advice Bureau and found the experience incredibly rewarding. Working with clients towards a solution for their issue, developed my interpersonal and communication skills. I was also able to attend meetings held by the CAB, which addressed common topics and emerging policy issues. These meetings instilled in me a sense of social responsibility and a desire to do more for my local area.

I studied Law at University and believe this provided a solid groundwork for looking at situations objectively and working systematically. My job in Resourcing Administration has enabled me to learn more about company procedures and work under tight deadlines to ensure goals are met.

Outside of work, I attend meetings held by a faith-based school community, the Avanti Trust, on a wide variety of topics, including entrepreneurship, parenting and spirituality in general.
