Fundraising is an ongoing activity, there are always items, equipment and experiences that would benefit the children at the Federation to enhance their lives. Items such as iPads, playground and sensory equipment need to be replaced regularly.
We also have bigger projects to focus any fundraising towards, currently the priority at Booker Park is a new multi-sensory, all inclusive playground renovation. The proposed development will offer imaginative, inclusive play and encourage outdoor learning and experiences. The new playground will include a sensory gazebo, bespoke tree house, an outdoor classroom area, musical instruments and double swing suitable for all abilities.
In addition to this we are also working to fund a large climbing castle for the students at Stocklake Park. This is a bespoke climbing tower which will be wheelchair accessible plus will offer a climbing wall, slide, a decked platform with porthole looks outs and play space underneath. This piece of equipment will offer huge scope for physical development promoting a healthy lifestyle and physical activity. It will also offer the opportunities for imaginative and social play.
We continue to raise funds to support the School Therapy Dog project at Stocklake Park:
