Fundraising is an ongoing activity, there are always items, equipment and experiences that are needed for the Federation to enhance the school lives of all the students. Items such as iPads, playground and sensory equipment need to be replaced regularly.
We also have bigger projects including the installation of two Multi-Use Games Areas, one at Stocklake Park and one at Booker Park, which will provide a dedicated space for all students to access sporting activities. This facility can be used all year round, as the surface is an all-weather finish, often grassed areas are unusable after rain, particularly for wheelchairs.
In addition to these we are also working to fund a large climbing castle for the students at Booker Park. This is a bespoke climbing tower with a cargo net and climbing wall, two slides, a decked platform with porthole looks outs and a hideaway play space underneath. The castle will offer huge scope for physical development promoting a healthy lifestyle and physical activity. It will also offer the children opportunities for imaginative and social play.
We continue to raise funds to support the School Therapy Dog project at Stocklake Park
