Redwood Alternative Curriculum Week
Redwood department had an amazing “wow” week in May 2015. The children participated in a wide range of activities, including rock climbing on walls brought to school by the Riverside Centre, skiing and tobogganing at the Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead, drumming with Umbada, canoeing in the school pool, and participating in circus activities with Circus Sensible. The benefits to all of the children were huge – social, physical, engagement, communication, and plenty of awe and wonder! The week was made possible by a grant from the William Harding Trust, thank you very much!
