Glorious Gulliver’s Land
All the children from Booker Park school were treated to a visit to Gulliver’s Land in Milton Keynes this term. The trip was funded through the monies raised by Nigel Westacott on his epic fundraising bike ride. At the end of last year, we held an election whereby the children chose where what trip they would like to take place with some of Nigel’s fundraising; Gulliver’s Land was the clear winner.
Over the course of three days, the children set off on coaches and minibuses for an action packed, adrenaline filled day and had lots of fun on rides and with the characters and shows! We didn’t let broken down coaches or road closures stop us from having a great time.
The big drop tower satisfied the thrill seekers and everyone appreciated the soaking they got from the log flume! It soon became apparent that almost all of the children are thrill seekers and the faster and higher the ride the better!
