Becky Belardo (Co-Opted Governor)
I became a Governor as I want to contribute something to the local community working as part of a team to help the Federation and its staff achieve the most fulfilling and enriched educational experiences for pupils. I am sure that being able to help the school’s pupils to grow and develop will be very rewarding and fulfilling.
My personal circumstances changed at the end of 2019 when I was made redundant from Lloyds Banking Group after 32 years having managed Customer Service Operations and Projects with multi-million-pound budgets, which allows me more time to take on the role of a Governor alongside my current part-time role at Bierton CoE school.
I am enthusiastic, energetic and committed to support initiatives the Federation are aiming to implement in order to help raise standards and experiences for pupils, and I am looking forward to opportunities to get into schools again, meeting children and staff, helping to make a difference for you all.
I have strong self-awareness and am comfortable leading and influencing communications and meetings, adapting my style and inputs effectively dependant on audience. I show empathy and build trust and confidence with stakeholders, confident to challenge others using natural style and authoritative knowledge.
Extensive experience in performance management and appraisal of staff, including recruitment, I also have sound financial management and business skills.
